MyRPL Phases

Beta testing is the last stage of testing, and normally can involve sending the product to beta test sites outside the company for real-world exposure or offering the product for a free trial over the Internet. Beta testing is often preceded by a round of testing called alpha testing.

Released: January 9, 2006
This version of MyRPL was released for use only by members at the High Street YMCA. A group of about 20 players joined the first ever MyRPL league which was appropriately named "The Originators". I used the input from these players and the almost 4 weeks in between BETA ONE and BETA TWO to resolve any bugs that I call "show stoppers."

Released: January 30, 2006
This version of MyRPL was released to the general public for purposes of finding any minor errors in the code. The more RPL members that join and create leagues helps in finding and resolving 99% of the bugs.

Started Phasing in: September 1, 2008
This version of MyRPL is being released week by week as I finish new features.

This version of MyRPL included new features for playing Doubles, and Quick Matches (both singles and doubles). This was a major overhaul and took over 40 hours of coding, database additions, and testing.
